How Many Candles Do I Need

I’m just kidding. Candles are one of those things we don’t need, but they make such a nice detail when relaxing in a bath, setting a table! Some even fill the house with beautiful fragrances that can make the house smell like anything from fresh laundry to a log cabin. It’s tough to resist purchasing them with these glorious details in mind. 

But unless you have ample storage for all of these candles, instead of creating relaxing ambiance they can create chaotic clutter. I recommend clients collect all the candles around the house, including the ones hiding in drawers and cabinets and bring them to one place. Separate them by usage or scented versus unscented. 

It may surprise you to find that you have candles you don’t have holders for, duplicates of the certain scents and ones given as gifts with scents that kinda’ make you want to gag. (It’s the thought that counts, lol). From there, decided which ones to keep and which to re-home. This is a great way to ensure that these a beautiful enhancements to your home don’t become a burdensome source of stress.
